Need help: recondition sheepskin A-6 arctic pants

I purchased off eBay a pair of sheepskin A-6 arctic pants- same make(Aero leather clo.), contract as ones here: http://www.usmilitariaforum.com/for...tic-wear-b7-jacket-and-a6-pants/#entry1446218. Leather is nicely pliable, no rips, holes.
Problem 1 - is that they are dirty.
Problem 2 - although there is no foul smell, I'm concerned not to have any incipient molding.

I'd need help with indicating the steps/products needed to clean them up.

I did some research for products and found this:

Has anyone used it? In several places they say is less harsh than Woolite.

Some actual pictures of the pants I own. They look like being soiled on the outside. Inside they are clean.
The leather is surprisingly supple and bouncy when bent. Looks really strong. I'm afraid not to ruin it structurally by cleaning.

I recently cleaned a 15 year old Lost Worlds B-3. I had worn the thing 100's of times and it was getting pretty grimy. I used tepid water (lots of it) and a very small amount of baby shampoo. I rinsed it very thoroughly and air dried it with room temperature air circulating through the sleeves. It came out with fleece looking like new and the exterior shell looking better than ever (dammit!). No loss in suppleness.

Given the historical considerations and rarity of those trousers, I would probably use water only and air dry

@heron163 thanks a lot for your help! If I understand, you dipped the whole jacket in water?

I'm thinking just to wash the surface with a moist cloth.

I did not submerge it in water - I used a hose to spray water on it. The moist cloth sounds like a good compromise.
