Need help dating a couple shearling jackets. I Magnin with Talon Zipper.

Hello, this is my first post and just wanted say this a great forum that I stumbled upon. Lot's of knowledge and good reads. I found this forum while researching Talon zippers through Google. With that said, I have two jackets that I'm stumped on with dating their era.
The first one is a shearling coat with Talon zipper. No longer has the maker tag of the coat. The zipper and pull are stamped Talon but the stopper is stamped "LF". Which I thought was a different company (Lightning Fasteners). Is that correct?

The second jacket is made by I. Magnin and was made in France. It has a YKK zipper.

The first jacket is Canadian, probably from the 1970s. Lightning was a Canadian zipper company associated with Talon. They made the same zippers marked with both names. Sometimes they mixed the markings, as in your case.

The second jacket is probably 1980s.
