Neckties before the early 1920's

Have any ever come across any, or do any of you own neckties that ante-date the c.1923 improvement, the slipstitch (is that what it's called?)?

I'm fairly certain that I have several ties from the latter half of that decade, but, what do ties from the late 1900's or the 1910's look like? Widths, pattern trends, did they change every few years as we associate with the modern era of ties, or are there so few remaining examples that we just don't know?

Thanks!

Ties from that period were much more varied than they are today. Here are some examples from 1912:
The slipstitch, is, in my opinion overrated by the iGentry. I read all sorts of praise about how the slipstitch makes or breaks a good tie, yet all my machine stitched ties hold up perfectly well.

Wow. Thanks for the picture quirrel. I knew some them but the rest is really rad! I would have described it like the second tie in the first row.

'20s or earlier. 4 of the 5 clip to the shirt stud of a detachable, stiff collared shirt.

The middle one's knot is pre-tied and sewn, but it is an actual knot. There is a metal stiffener in the short end of the tie which makes feeding it through the knot easier. So sort of half-way pre-tied.
