Picked this up at Goodwill today. I didn't think it was all that old (maybe 1970s) because of the polyester blend but now looking at the tags they look older than that, like 1950s.
Has anyone seen a jacket like this or guess about its age? It's a nice one, reminds me of something my grandpa would wear which is why I bought it. It does have two small elastic spots on the bottom as well as a Talon zipper. It does fit me rather nicely.

Edit: I just found another different Peters Sportswear jacket on e-pay with the exact same tag with the polyester blend. The seller dates it to the 1950s. Polyester was used back before the 1970s?

From the tags and blend I would gues late sixties early seventies. Many traditional companies continued to make similar jackets but started changing fabrics. the tags changed a little, but not always that much.

Traditional style and looks good on you. Looks like a keeper.

Unless of course, the one on ebay goes for a thousand bucks.
