My wife is a sweetie!

I have a birthday coming June 11, and she hit me with that question I never have an answer for: "What do you want for your birthday"?

I stammered a bit, and she said: "I wondered if you had your eyes on a hat somewhere, but weren't willing to spend the money on it because of the expenses this month."

And then I remembered a couple of Stratoliners that are available on our friendly worldwide auction site. I'm SMILING now!!!

Sounds like a good present to me. I am wearing my dark tan Stratoliner today. It has many miles on it but if you don't look too close it has many more to go.

Thanks, folks. My wife does tolerate my hobbies nicely - such as the "Wall O'Guitars" I posted a few weeks ago. And my 1958 Fiat 1200 Roadster taking up my half of the garage while I try to find time to finish restoring it. And lots of books. And CDs. And photography. And being VP of an Alumni Association. And teaching graduate courses online. And keeping five cars running.

But aside from all that, she has very little to put up with!
