My custom hat from Art arrived today! It's the Cheyenne color scheme, with the Taos bash. Of course I couldn't leave well enough alone, so I already gave it a simple center dent, just to try it out. No steam needed!
The workmanship... well, I don't need to tell you guys.

Thanks Art!:eusa_clap

I'd like to put aside some cash for one of these.
Now, what style would I want it in?
Bogie?
Mr. Schiff?
Hmmm

Yeah, I have no idea which of Art's styles I'd choose. I may just send him a picture of me and let him choose what would look best. :)

I've been thinking of doing just that, Tony, the next time I order a VS. But that's a ways from now, I think. I have one that I adore, already.

Anyway, has anybody else noticed that all of Art's hats, in profile, seem to have a distinctive nature that says "This hat was made by Art Fawcett"??? This isn't a bad thing, to be sure... but I'm starting to notice that I can tell his work if I see it from the side. Keep up the good work Art! And keep up the good taste, Joel! :eusa_clap

Tony,

That is what I did...I had a couple of hats (now that I have some real hats, these were suppose to be hats) when a short brim and a wider brim. You could see my whole body, so Art could look at the whole proportion. That is why we went to a little wider brim on "The Tucker". Then we took in consideration my outdoor activities with my panamas for better sunprotection.

But sending pics are a great idea, if not a must.
