My new Strathcona Boots

Well as I had posted before I won a pair of Strathcona boots on ebay and they got here last yesterday. Took me until today to find my digital camera :eusa_doh: . They are absolutely beautiful and have a wonderful pebbled texture to the leather. I'm thinking of changing out the calf lacing with some leather lace. They are a bit to tight at the calf but nothing loosing some weight won't fix. The soles have to be the stiffest I have ever tried on. Anyway here are the pics.

well when you start off with fairly muscular calves to begin with then gain a bit of weight they get bigger lol ...plus the extreme taper for the ankles makes the upper portion look larger than it really is.

yep the motorcowboy boots are actually copies made from a pair of these.
