Wow, that is a great hat!
It looks swell on you, if you don't mind my asking, where did you find it?

Sure thing. I found it at an antique mall in a stack of empty hat boxes.
Cheers!

Foreman & Clark, eh? I knew them only in their twilight years in the early '80s when you could buy any color suit for $79, as long as it was 100% dacron and so sheeny you could read a menu by it in a dark restaurant. Obviously, popular-priced didn't always mean hideous.

I found my favorite Borsalino this way...what a great feeling to open that lid and see a beautiful hat inside waiting for a good home! Your Foreman and Clark is a great find and looks good on you. Christmas came early! :eusa_clap

Fantastic find. :eusa_clap That is one great looking hat. What are the dimensions? Brim width, crown height? Congratulations on a great looking hat. Looks good on you too.

Thanks all. The pics are a little washed out, making it look a little lighter than it is. It's a soft gray, very beautiful. The dimension are:

Crown height: 5 in.
Front brim: 2 3/4 in.
Side and rear brim: 2 1/2 in.
Size: 7 3/8 in.

I'm a 7 1/8 in. but it fits me perfectly. I like the wider brim, this hat has become my favorite. You're right Johnnysan, it's very exciting opening a hat box, seeing brim and pulling it out. It's a great feeling when it turns out to be a sweetheart. :D
I don't have any pics of the inside, maybe tomorrow. Even so, does anyone have any idea when this is from? 1950's perhaps?
Thanks

Has a little less taper than one of those infamous lids. What is it about taper?!?
