My "new" borsalino milan

This arrived today. It's marked as a 7-1/4, but fits like a 7 which on a straw hat, just doesn't quite work. It's too bad, because this is a nice hat.
Check out the loose weave under the sweatband, so that the holes in the sweatband can breathe through the outside band.

How old would you say this one is? '60's? newer?

Those were great hats. Yours dates from 1978. The quality on the orginal Borsalino straws were fantastic. They made a Baku straw that was light as a feather . Smooth as silk.
