My latest aquisition

I found this Stratoliner at a price I could not refuse. It will take some work to restore it. Anyone have any idea on a date? The liner was missing and the sweatband is in sad shape. I will be calling on Art's skill no doubt. The only way I have to show photos is off my page, it is the 2nd hat in.

I found a couple of blemishes in the felt when I examined it closer. I will take some photos and email them to you and see where we go from there.

That is the one

I was at a local junk store and they have a room of vintage clothing. On a bottom shelf I spotted this hat. I liked the color so I investigated it. It was my size and the rest is history so to speak. It was made in Philly, has a round size tag (7 3/8ths, just my size) and a price tag of $6.00. I even got him to throw in an old Stetson hatbox. Hopefully all will work out.
