My First WW2 Peacoat

Hello everyone. I'm new here and this is my first post. I have owned a few peacoats from the 50s & 60s (I'm hung up on the corduroy lined pockets) for several years now, but I recently bought my first WW2 era peacoat. It appears, to me, to be in very good condition, especially for the price I paid. Anyway, thought I'd come here to show it off. Since I can't attach pictures, here's the link to my photobucket...

bentusian, thanks for posting the pictures. I can't post attachments yet.

Those pictures are linked from your photobucket library.
I think there's an instruction about it somewhere, but here's how anyway:

When you move your cursor on each photo in your photobucket library you'll see three stripes show up in the lower left corner. Move the cursor there, click on 'share links', and copy html code from 'IMG' window by clicking on it (it copies automatically). Then crtl+V (paste) it in your post. While you're writing, the direct link looks like a long cryptogram between brackets, but it will turn into a photo once you submit your post. You can always check by previewing post before submission.

Looks like it is in mint condition. I was very lucky when I found a WWII coat in mint condition in my size of 46 a few years ago. WWII coats are very rare in size 46 and in mint condition. The inside label on yours looks almost new. It looks great.

Thanks guys. It is as close to mint as I'll ever see, I'm sure. No stencil on the liner or anything. Only imperfections are two very small spots in the upper back that appear to be mothing, but they are both smaller than a dime in diameter. Now I just hope it fits. I work out of town and my wife received it for me. Going to be a couple of weeks before I get to see it in person.
