Hello all-
This is my first post to the forum. Happy to be here.
I've always admired the 1889 campaign hat, and the ïndividuality"of the men who wore them. So, for my first hat, I tried to re-create a 1889 campaign hat with a fore and aft crease.
My hat is a 7x beaver which originally had a 3 1/4 inch brim which was cut down to 3". Believe it or not, I was able to get it new for $65, since it was a "floor model"."
