Hi guys. I received my first Borsalino... a Como that I purchased from BenCraft Hats recently. I had some intial issues with sizing, but hopefully I have come to the correct one for my head. I took some pictures and I was wondering if anyone can comment to tell me if it looks right. I am still getting used to seeing myself in a hat... so thats probobly why I think it still looks odd. :) Anyhow, thanks for all your help in advance...

looking good

It takes time with any new hat to feel the comfort level. That goes for color

and crown and brim width changes as well.

that looks to be a perfect fit...enjoy.

Hey there friend ..

You look great. the hat , shape and style really looks good on you.
BUT.. as with anything, the way you feel, and the way you feel you look has almost 99.9 % to do with the way you can pull off a look. The fedora look is a classic style, and I'm sure that a young man like you knows that there are some wild looks out there that no one thinks twice about. Just wear your hat and soon you will see that your sense of style has carried over to someone else.
You are on the right track!

Not only does it look great, it's black. There seems to be a slight aversion to black fedoras, but you pull it off, very well!

I was just about to say this, but Deanglen put it better than I could have.

Nice hat!

Borsalino Como

I too have a Como from the same vendor and the size feels really nice after a wearing or two. It is one of the current Borsa line that makes most of us look good. I liked it so much I went back and bought the Como II in olive green with a 3" brim. I felt the brim was too large for the crown so they cut down the brim to 2 3/4" and now its just perfect.

The Como is so soft and comfortable and makes everyone look good. If it's Borsalino that rows your boat (and IMHO it should) check out Alessandria for its similarity to the classic open road and the Viaggio for a really cool crushable hat that comes in a Borsalino travel can.

Enjoy your Como!

Hm... does the como tend to shrink over time of using it? If anything the hat is a bit too big... it doesn't touch my ears but sometimes it can come close. I originally bought it to dance in, but it is way too nice to treat it that way, so now i will just use it when i get dressed up. I absolutely love it... now i need a grey one to go with my lighter clothes.

Welcome to the lounge-and don't worry a bit about whether or not the look
is you- you look great in that hat! dance, party, be sensible about where you
think you might put it besides on your head, and enjoy!! the black is so cool-
it can't be beat the way you carry it off.:eusa_clap :eusa_clap

Good Shoes and Good Hats

Aaron; You have absolutely nothing to worry about. You know how a good pair of shoes makes your feet feel better and this in turn makes you feel better. Well, a good hat makes your head feel better with likewise results.

For those who have orthopaedic challenges, orthopaedic shoes often cure the condition. If only I could find the right orthopaedic hat, I might be able to discontinue therapy.

Now you know why i am.........
