Moving the Major

Been in Covington today helping Mike with the move.

Here are a couple of pics to show the new shop.

Say, do you have some sort of anti-UV film over those cardboard standees in the upper windows? Because if ya don't the sun will bleach them out before a year is up, I'd bet.

Yep... just down the street.
For a hat lover, this place is just too cool!

These all look great. I especially like the green fedora, bottom-left, last pic and the top-right fedora in the same, looks like black or dark chocolate with a brown ribbon and binding...looks AMAZING. I also like the "super yellow" hat in the 1st and 3rd pics.

Seeing as I reside in Tennessee, and this is pretty much the closest hat shop around, I may have to stop by sometime lol.

Yes... that is Mike Moore, hatter and owner of Buckaroo Hatters.
He was General Moore who commanded the NSA for several years.
He is not active any more as hat making takes most of his time.

Thought so. I was his subaltern general at Perryville in 2006. I commanded about 1,200 troops of the second brigade and was under General Moore. I thought that was him in that photo.
