The Fox News website has approximately 35 Movietone news shorts (between the years 1927-1963). The news items include coverage of Pearl Harbor, FDR's funeral, 1930's style, the Lindbergh baby kidnapping, etc. Good stuff!

One assumes they're clips selected for historical importance - ie, not complete shorts. (Which is too bad, but that's the way of things.)

I'm doing WWII-era research, and I've been wishing I could slip into a theater of the past to see actual newsreels and shorts. Next to traveling back in time (still working on that), these are just what I need. Thanks!
