Moto Style Vanson at Orvis

Thought I would put this one up for anyone who might be interested. If you want a Vanson moto style but don't feel like waiting, Orvis will supposedly have these Vansons up soon, 11/28. Wonder if the sizing will be better than their Ike Orvis/Vanson jacket. Vanson told me that Orvis had them size up the jackets about a size for the Ike, so I wonder if that will be the same with this model. But hey, no wait if you want a Vanson, that might not be a bad deal if the style suits you. Thoughts?

I'd love to be able to buy a Vanson B like that without the wait.

But patches! I hate patches on any jacket, especially if I didn't choose them. I don't want to buy my individuality pre-thought up by someone else. This one isn't trying to be the exact same jacket as seen on that awful show, but it's too close for comfort.

Gregory House - love or hate him - he did have great style in wearing Vanson motorcycle jackets on the show. But I agree the patches are just too loud.

I still like the design - a terrific jacket!

I love the jacket and the show. But I won't buy a pre-patched jacket unless it's a WWII flight jacket or the like.

That jacket will look better, patches and all, after it's been broken in some. Then it all blends together and looks more 'right.'
