Morning coat question

I know morning coats are for day wear hence MORNING coat. Heres my question, if there is a event which starts in the morning or afternoon and continues into the night can you continue to wear the morning coat or do you run back to the house at 5pm or 6pm and put on tails and white tie? I have see people continue to wear them past the hours if the event starts early but is it correct?

Good golly, relax! If any event requires you to do this, then avoid it like the plague. Such stuffy inanity would choke any rational being to death.

So I guess I can wear the morning attire and silk plush top hat the whole time. I REALLY DID NOT WANT TO GO BUY ANOTHER TAILS AFTER THAT.fftopic: I was originally dressed2kill but when my computer crashed I lost my password and all my posts. when I put my email in the retrieval system it would never retreive my password to my email. So I am finally back
using another email on a new computer with a new screen name and well it's great to be back! Oh and Marc keep the Funk alive, I know your a Sly Stone fan and am guessing a Parliment-Funkadelic fan although I don't think Bootsy's Collins' fashion and top hats are lounge material.
