No - I think it's quite tempting as a lighter option - but I think the 'you have to phone/contact us to get the price' approach is a canny way to reel people in, selling those jackets one at a time

Pity. I'm kinda hoping the new Aeros to be launched next month include something along these lines. I do remember seeing one of theirs in the wild.... it was a thirties style halfbelt, but the other model with the long seam design down the front - damned if I can remember the name or find it on their site now.... but this one was a mix of wool and leather (both black). Never seen one before or since - assumed it was either a custom job or a prototype for something that hasn't (yet) gone into production. Something like the Aero J106 with black leather sleeves and a body made out of the wool they use for the Waterfront would be quite a jacket... Oh, or a Bootlegger front on a Pioneer, in wool with leather sleeves.... oh, momma.

Aero had one of their wool / leather halfbelts on the sale page a while back, and it was described as coming back into production soon. No idea if that was pre or post Will, though.

I thought we had put this back up, but apparently not yet. We'll be doing so soon, it's one of my favourite styles personally! I think perhaps the hold up was sourcing the perfect wool.

I prefer the green/brown colour combo, but can't seem to find the photos in my archive.

Yes! This is exactly the jacket I saw on eBay a while back. Went for a crazy low price, as I recall, but I was narrowly outbid. I'd like it more in a contrast style - I think that really makes these jackets. I'd love to see what you would do with a Bootlegger design in this mix of textiles and hide.

Holly, the rumor here is that some new jacket selections will be released in April, if you can answer, will you be releasing the new jacket models all together or will it be a slow rollout of one or two at a time?

I'd like it more in a contrast style - I think that really makes these jackets. I'd love to see what you would do with a Bootlegger design in this mix of textiles and hide.

I had an Aero 50's HB made last year out of the Black/Green Waterfront wool. Beautiful jacket. I will post some pics of that and my new 2-tone 30's HH /HB if I can ever get my daughter over with her camera! I would also like to see Aero come out with some 1930-1950 style wool patterns, and also be able to get their standard patterns made out of some of a wool material!

Cherry FQHH -- which is downright gorgeous -- and a VERY dark green Melton wool would be a thing of beauty in this style.
