BIN asking price is no reflection of the market.
When I've bought NOS bicycle parts, they ask the same crazy prices, but when I offer half or less of their asking price, which puts it in my market, they sell.

I have to agree. A while back I saw where a guy was trying to sell a pair of vintage Filson Tin Pants on e-bay, and was only offering to sell for 1200.00 dollars. I hade to track that, as I couldn't believe anyone would bite, and as I thought, they didn't sell.

I don't doubt that it will. It's really just my own petty kind of view (read: meager budget) that makes me say such things. Not my fault, really...

The only thing that people will hold against it is the patch. if it was pristine, it would have sold, probably, and the price would have been higher.
