Montecristi lesser weaves!!

I know one thing the finer the weave the less air your head will get. The 500 to 700 weaves hats or even lower are much cooler.
Did you know on those 1700 wpsi or higher they'll hold water since they are woven so tight.


So for a Montecristi you wear everyday in a lesser woven

I agree Sharpetoys. The finer woven hats are hot. I would love to have a Montecrista hat that was woven with an area in the crown where they left air holes. I don't know what this is called, but I saw a vintage one on ebay last week. Not my size. I once owned a Stetson Panama, and they installed the eyelets in the crown for ventilation. These were godsends, and make that hat more comfortable to wear in the humid Mississippi summertime. Fedora

I have personally seen this exact hat. It is beautiful. I would buy it, but know it is too small for me (7 3.8).
