Hi all, a few questions for those in the know.
1) Are the modern production N3B's actually 100% cotton for the outer shell? If so, why did they transition away from nylon? I was always under the impression nylon/cotton blends are more durable.
2) Is this tag (pictured in link) indicative of a genuine USGI N3B parka? https://i.imgur.com/mTSGdxC.jpg
3) How can you ascertain the year of manufacture from these, and the older tags?
4) I have read before about the colorfastness of the sage green shells being poor, and turning into a shade of violet over time when worn outside. Is this still an issue?
Thank you
