GOK, who was lots of fun to banter with.
beaucaillou, ditto, and so knowledgeable about good drink.
max the cat, who was about the heppest of musicians here.
Baron Kurtz, for his diversity and depth.

Still here, though infrequently.
Still knowledgeable about drink. :)
Still up for banter.

TFL is like 'old man river...' just keeps flowing along...

And every so often, folk stop off on that river for a break or get caught up in other things on the bank. Then they'll prise themselves away and rejoin the river that is TFL...;)

The other great thing is that folk who are bobbing along little online tributaries will flow from their own streams into this great Mississippi of a forum bringing new life and enthusiasm and knowledge to this part of the WWW.:eusa_clap

Hey, I feel the love. Super busy with the shop. Still trying to figure out my Website, Blog, Twitter, Facebook, Forum Groups, LinkedIn.......... It's all so confusing for us small Haberdashers.
I do feel bad that I haven't made time to visit the Lounge. I miss it and I miss Classic Style magazine. Thanks for the shout out Marc. I'm a huge fan of yours.
Marty

Two more hit me last night, and lo and behold, I log on to find one has posted. The two I was going to mention are Marty Mathis and Lucky Strike. Both posted messages with photos of outfits that were the pinnacle of style and class.

When I choose the ignore function I am not able to read any of that persons posts it does not really seem to have any other function but someone can correct me if I am wrong.

Brooksie

It does both. You don't see their posts and you can't get PMs from them. Its a lovely function. You can view their posts if you click view posts---if you really want to.:D

Hi Marty - Nice to see you again! Come back soon.

Is Art Fawcett still posting? Last I recall, he had been quite sick and was unable to take custom work, and had been unable to post often.

You got me curious as I had not heard about Art being sick or unable to post. So I called him. After bending his ear for over half an hour, I can tell you that he is fine and is still taking custom work. :D He just has been pretty busy and unable to post much. See the Art Faucet Hall of Fame thread. There are a few recent posts there---and some really nice new works. ;)
So I put my mind to rest and I hope yours. :p

A little incongruous tho. Sort of like Claudette Colbert standing next to Slim Summerville (no resemblance to actual persons intended or to be inferred).

;) Backatcha, beau. Consider yourself bantered at.

How about Rooster? He hasn't been around for about a year. I don't exactly share his views on animal rights, but he made some worthwhile contributions.

Loungers I miss.

Hemmingway Jones-The man has a great sense of style
Daisy Buchanan-Very easy to look at.
Lauren Henline-See: Daisy Buchanan
WildRoot-See: Hemmingway Jones.

It was funny running into this thread tonight. I was just thinking earlier today about how I had gotten busy and didn't have as much time to spend in the Lounge as I used to. When I first signed on in 2006 I checked in a couple of times a day. Thankfully, business has picked up
recently so my visits aren't as frequent. It's been interesting to see the turnover here.
When I first joined there was no HarpPlayerJean, or Fletch or dinerman and these folks are now real staples on the site.

But I would like to thank the four names above and everyone else on these forums for your input and encouragment. Thanks to you all I've gone from t-shirts and blue jeans to suits, ties and hats.

I'd still like to get out to California for the QM event just once to meet everyone in person.

I miss alot of them but cannot remember their names.
The Dutch Barbie girl. ( I could look at her all day.)

I was trying to think of her name the other day, and I think I came up with it. I think it was Johanna.

Myself, I miss Dan G. I often wonder how he's doing...

Also I believe she was from Sweden?
