I know, I'm still a fresh face here at Fedora Lounge and I'm not going to spam this board but I'm asking for your support.

I'm a retro model, trying to keep the spirit of the a time gony by alive with my pictures, and I made it among the first five contestants for the "Vector Vixen" pinup contest at Retro Radar! The winner will be named "Vector Vixen of the Month". Of course, his would be a delicious title to have but there are a lot of beautiful dames in the contest, so it will be hard to choose.

thank you for your nice comment and for voting for me.
I'm sure you'll see more of me in the near future, photographic wise at least. I'm currently in talks with a professional and experienced photographer here in Germany who's capable of doing the style I want and who would like to add a new touch to his portfolio. I don't want to jinx it by talking about it too much but I will let you know when I know something definitive.

I adore Norma Shearer. It's interesting that you mentioned her. The pictures you attached are so beautiful and I think she's blessed with classic timeless beauty. I love her style so much. I saw a couple of her films. Did you know that she got offered the part of Scarlet O'Hara but had to turn it down? Thank you for posting this great pictures of her.

Great shots Paddy! Beautiful and classy!
You know....Looking at these great pictures...I couldn't help thinking of a friend I have in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada...who has a passion for 40's style and has the joy of owning her own consignment store. As a matter of course...She will often wear beautiful gowns, hats and do up her hair to go out for dinner. One evening she went out with her fella to one of the better dining spots in the city..the moment she walked in the door, ever man's head snapped around in awe and wonder. (Us guys...know what I'm talking about... LOL ). An instant later there were about 30 gentlemen quietly recoiling in pain from having been kicked under the table from by their respective mates LOL . My friend..recognizes that though she may not be a run way model, its pure radiant feminity and the class of the act that wins respect and adoration from us fellas. I had to agree with her...

It's perhaps the reason that though Women like Britany Spears and others take more and more of their clothes off to get attention...they will never get the kind of attention, respect and lasting adoration of women like Norma Shearer.

Yep, that's his hat size but he should be recognized for the great things he has done with his hats as well. Several of his hats are being used as we speak in Florida as rescue boats. LOL LOL
