Great movie.
Just rented the DVD from Blockbuster online.

Opening title sequence/menu is a shot into the wood, the lens draws back, and a black fedora drops onto the forest floor. I tried to attach it, however it's invalid, likely too big.
When you click play, the wind blows the hat away.

I've heard that. I remember seeing it years ago and recognizing the streetcar coming up Carondelet St. at Common St.

I didn't realize MOST of it was filmed here until I watched the interviews and such.

That film is a masterpiece. I wasn't convinced by the Cohen Brothers until I saw it; now I've been forced to reassess everything they've done.

I picked the DVD up for about 6 or 7 quid and I really liked it. The sets and the clothes look great, not to mention the hats! I don't know how "period correct" they were, but it isn't that important, as it was a great film to watch.

It's been a favorite of mine for years.
I also LOOOOOOOOOOOVE O'Brother Where Art Thou, even though I'm no fan of George Clooney.

Whatever.
I promise to be more substantive in future intercourse on this forum.
Please accept my humblest of apologies and self-flagellation.

Flagellation and intercourse are going a little overboard. I'm just pointing out that there is a functioning search function as well as a section called The Moving Picture, and since this thread has to do with hats only in as much as there are hats in that particular moving picture it might make sense to put this in the section that deals with and is in fact called... ta da: The Moving Moving Picture.

Shheeesh.

Anyway... I'll keep schtum in future so as not to offend. [huh]

Four letter word, ending in "k" which is a synonym for intercourse.
And it ain't whatcha think.lol lol lol lol

Simply to justify myself once again, I had the lounge running, and I checked to see if the MC DVD files I have on my computer were indeed functioning and not corrupted. I checked the title menu first which is the hat, falling onto the road in the wood, which is then blown away by the wind.

I was on THIS board/room/forum, so I posted here right quick-like as I was a bit surprised by what I saw.

As I tell FOGs at my other board, if all we ever did was tell noobs to do a search and post to old threads, we'd never cover new ground or have conversations. The Movie forum here, isn't in my regular rotation when I visit TFL.

I'll shut up, now.
