Rare mid 1800's Top Hat made by French maker Gibus (inventor of the collapsible top hat mechanism).
Deep Brown/Copper
Size 7 3/8 - 23 1/4" Circumference
7 1/2" Tall Crown
2" Bound brim
3/4" Ribbon with fancy zig-zag pattern
This hat has seen alot in its 150 years and it shows some wear - Missing some of its fur/silk in some spots as well as the bound brim ribbon fraying at certain points. These issues weren't enough to stop me from buying it
