Mezlan Shoes

Anyone familiar with a shoe maker name MEZLAN?
I noticed a few on ebay and was just wondering about the quality.

Rubbish avoid at all costs they do have some very high end ones from Spain but the rest is rubbish.

What style of shoe are you looking for? Formal? Business? Vintage-inspired?

I had a pair of Mezlan two tone spectators that I sold off on ebay years ago. They were thrift store finds and were 'OK' quality.

I have two pair of them that I bought at Nordstrom's Rack, and they are higher end examples from Spain (as Cookie mentioned). I've had them for about three years and am very satisfied with them (I've got a pair on now). Not familiar with the non-Spanish ones...

I purchased these Mezlan shoes in the year 2001, they are very well made, have lasted well after wearing them, not have had to resole or reheel them, they are heavily constructed thick soles similar to gunboats, comfortable to wear, and seem to be wearable with jeans or any of my brown or blue suits or clothing. They are made in Spain, so there may be something to what has been said so far about that being an issue about quality on this brand.
