Mens Trousers 30s? Flat Front, Buckles and No Pockets

Hi, I need some help putting a date to these trousers, they appear to be a black rayon faille? and have a flat front with a hidden tooth front metal Waldes zipper much like the Waldes Zippers that are marked Kover Zip, the back of the metal pull it says 3-1-Z , they have buckle slides on each side but no pockets!

The only tag is an old yellowed paper tag that is virtually unreadable, maybe you guys can figure out what it says. I think the top part says LOT and the first letter on the bottom is definitely M.
I put a piece of white paper underneath the tag so it could be seen better.

These look like as though they might be a costume of some kind, perhaps for a dancer. Very unusual.

Thanks! That's all most of us could come with due to the lack of pockets, is dancer or wait staff trousers...We are trying to date them by the Waldes zipper, thinking late 30s to early 40s.

What is the material? Waiting staff or servants uniforms would be rather more sturdy than theatrical/dancing trousers. These look very light, silk even? Could be some very fancy evening trousers? [edit] Ah, I see you say rayon faille. So yeah, probably theatrical or dancing.

Interesting trousers, hideous replacement button. WONDERFUL stampwork on the buckles. very deco.

Interesting zipper. That is indeed the Kover zip design, with the cotton fabric that hides the teeth. Wonder why it's not marked "Kover"? They came in middle to late '30s I believe.
