I'm not sure i would wear it, but I'm sure it will be perfect for someone.
We, (my immediate family), used to own a buffalo hide coat in great condition that presumably was owned by my homesteading gt. grandfather who came from Canada to South Dakota in the 1880's-seams were sown with sinew. Wore it once decades ago to show my then 90 year-old great aunt whose own parents homesteaded Minnesota in the 1880's coming from Norway. She told me she recalled a buffalo hide lap blanket they had when a child but had never seen a buffalo hide coat. It was heavy. Wished it hadn't been sold but when my mother died, it was auctioned off with most of her estate. Earl
