Aha! Gotcha! The weather here is a bit on the awkward side at present - gloriously wet, but too warm most days for the Burberry. Brolly - or 'Bumbershoot' - it is, then! That one's actually a Fulton, iirc - ebay, new GBP15. Looks the part and does the job without being so expensive that if I do lose it I'd lose sleep over it.....

Now you made me curious: how on earth can you stand more upright and the sleeves are two or three inches shorter then? Or did you mean you like them this long?

My posture is generally really bad (I look a stone lighter if I can actually stand right, but I've been a slouch for so long it's rare I manage it). Sleeves are maybe an inch or so long by vintage standards, correct by contemporary. I'm tempted to have them take up just a touch when I have soem spare cash sitting around, though. What I meant by that comment was they're not as 'too long' as they look in the photo. [huh]
