Ladies & Gents.
Last Sunday I had my first meet with a real live tailor!
Mr. Jeswani from ravistailor.com was in town, and although my research as to the actual quality I could expect met with mixed results; I decided to go for it.
A bespoke three-piece suit, cloth: Harris Tweed (of course).
Measurements were taken, samples were considered, multiple offers on "bonus for ordering quantity" were deflected.
Although he managed to talk me into ordering a summer-shirt for my linen suit.
Suckered me with offering 4" pointed collars...
I had chosen the "style" I wanted before I showed up.
Ignorant as to the accuracy and vintagity(!?) of the style?
Sure, I am still but a bud in the glorious tree of men's fashion,
but I liked the look of it, not to mention the lapels on the waistcoat.
I think this is the cloth I chose.
Felt that Harris Tweed was the safer bet qualitywise.
So; 4-6 weeks pregnancy awaits.
All I wish for Xmas etc...
