Hi All,

Just recieved my latest purchase from ebay. As I can’t master the posting images yet, here is the description.

A heavy cotton outer shell – possibly end zone twill or similar.

Attached hood that can be opened by a zip which has a flap cover (similar arrangement to a N2B hood) and each side can attach by two snaps either side of the hood to the back of the coat.

Fully lined in alpaca pile (very soft)

Two hand entry side pockets above two flapped square pockets.

Buttons up with a flap covering a zip (similar to the B9)

The arms are lined in Kersey wool similar to Tanker jacket lining with hidden knit cuffs.

The coat comes down to just below the knee.

No neck label. There is a spec label in the pocket states H. Bernstein & Co on a QM Tag dated 1942.

The zippers are Nickel Talon with Talon marked in two places on the vertical slider bar and the puller. The one on the front has sunburst box also with Talon marked. Zippers are perfect.

The coat belt with a metal pressed out buckle is present.

It is at a specialist cleaners at the moment as there are a few stains but overall it is in remarkable condition. No noticeable wear at all.

I have never seen one of these before and wondered if anyone else has come across these? Are they rare? I picked it up for £70.

Thanks, Bob
