I did not sleep well last night and was very slow moving this morning. As a result, breakfast slid right by me and I didn't have any.

That happens to me often. I get up, I'm tired, I work out, I'm more awake, but still tired, I shower and all that and then sit down at my desk to work (from home), which starts with three to four hours of reading financial markets and economic news, reports and stuff - by the time that's done, I'm mentally exhausted and half numb - eating food just seems too much to do and it's already the middle of the morning, so I just go on knowing I'll eat in a few hours.

I haven't had three square meals in, well, ever - didn't grow up that way and never developed the habit.

Exactly...except all that stuff after “i’m tired”, and before “eating food just seems...”. So just coffee.
