Lunch, Anybody?

Have never developed a taste for it. Love tomatoes, they're growing in my garden, love the smell of the soup and everyone in my life loves it. I can't eat it. Pile on the grilled cheese.
I'm with you on the tomato soup, cuz. Love a grilled cheese, though.

Yesterday I had fried chicken for lunch.

I'd say this, tomato soup is fine As. Long. As. there is an accompanying grilled cheese sandwich. The grilled cheese sandwich is the show, the tomato soup is the opening act you never heard of that you kinda listen to as you're finding your seat.

Skipped breakfast. Went overboard for lunch. Fried catfish, mac & cheese, black eyed peas, collard greens, sweet potatoes, squash casserole, fried okra, jalapeno cornbread, and peach cobbler.

I only had some cold cuts and cheese, and a latte. I brought a stuffed pepper to work but I didn't want to mess around with the microwave and a too-small container. I guess that will be dinner tomorrow and I don't know what for lunch.

Fried chicken today.

Eldest daughter came to work with me and wanted to stop at Chick fil A, so we did. I indulged with one of those frosted lemonade things. yum!
It wasn't chik-fil-a, but I sure wouldn't have minded if it had been. They make some really good chicken there.
