Luftwaffe Condor Jackets

I thought with all the talk about original Luftwaffe leather jackets, I would post this photo I found of six Sargent pilots of the Condor Legion. No disputing these as the real deal! It seems to be some time during the transition from purely civilian clothes and regulation uniforms! It would be interesting to see some one reenact the Spanish Civil War Condor pilots, instead of the ubiquitous Battle Of Britten! What do you all think?

Legion Condor

Interesting era, but I think you'd be hard-pressed to find anyone to reenact the other side! On a side note........... back when I used to deal heavily in militaria......... a had a Legion Condor ID card (both actually) from some LW NCO. Very Germanic looking dude with some very Spanish name in the ID! I don't think they really fooled anyone.

Umm . . . there is actually a small subculture of Spanish Civil War reenactors - including "the other side." check this out

Yes, but no Condor pilots! Probably, because there are no aircraft of that era to stand by! Though, there was a Polikarpov I-16 painted in Republican colors for a while!
