I just received an email from Daniel's (LoveMyHats2) wife, and she wanted Daniel's friends on FL to know that he is in etremely grave condition. She told me that the docs are not certain he's going to survive this recent cardiac episode. All I know is that he is currently unconscious, and probably on some support. If you believe in it, you might say one for him. I'm posting a portion of an email she sent--with her permission. She is unable to sign-on under Daniel's account for password reasons.
Cookie: If you read this, please PM me. Daniel's wife has some info she wants me to convey.
"I can tell you, Daniel has always thought the world of those he conversed with on the Fedora Lounge, and as you know I have attempted to help give him gifts, (shoes, hats, vintage items) as his love for those things helped make him smile. I know he was hopeful to some day have all of us meet and get to know each other more in person."
"My mind just spins with worry and some sorrow as it is about what will happen next. Daniel has some experts that have been already involved with his medical care from Scotland for his M.S., and from Italy to help with his Cardiology care. I think there are a total of 9 specialist that have all come to give the best care and treatment as humanly possible, working with the Doctors here that have already been giving his health care. For the last few months, his heart has been bad enough to have taken his life. But the general summary of everything has been he is too much in love, too stubborn to just die, and has too much faith in life and God, to roll up in a ball and die. He has been a very strong person to have even made it this far. His Cardiologist has stated per the sheer number of heart attacks, he should have already passed away. This is all so very hard on me as well as having been hard on Daniel."
