Tina always wanted a Birman cat, so as a special surprise I treated her to this adorable bundle of mischief.
Our kitten was immediately called Ruby, on account that she arrived in the year of our Ruby wedding anniversary.

Last year Ruby had to share her home with two "orphaned" cousins. Tina's sister, who lived alone, passed away. "Can we have her cats?" Tina pleaded. Of course we can, so now we have three cats.

My sister-in-law curiously called her two cats by initials. The female was BG, which I think might have been an abbreviation for Baby Girl, who knows? The male was known as PN, that stumped both of us.

About a month or so in, the cats all well settled, BG was renamed Babs and PN is now known as Ollie. Clearing out the cat's litter trays, I commented to Tina that Ollie seems to poop a lot, she laughed when I said that he could: "Sh*t for England." Tina then made me laugh when she speculated that PN might have stood for: "PooNami."

That's "Maunzie". He is also named "Lenny", "Blocky" and "Schnurri" by others.

Now we clearly know, that He and two or three other cats were abandoned this late summer evening 2024 in our smalltown, when I met him at our apartment block. Now he lives around and in our aparment block and has a new home with friendly people. He's not more unhappy as in the beginning, He feels safe.
