I was on a work trip to Texas last week. So Dr. Gogol took a vacation to my parents house. They took him to a classic car show on Long Island where they brought the museum's 40's jeep...

OH - MY - GOD - He is BEAUTIFUL! I want to steal him! :D

...But I doubt my old lab would like it. I took a good picture of her tonight:

More of my pets- my roaches- this female b. craniifer just shed so its completely white and soft save for its eyes until its juices start pumping into its new skin and wings.

bottom image for comparison. Sadly i will be forced to sell off my entire supply soon because i've developed some serious allergies to them, can't even touch them without gloves or i end up with bumps wherever they managed to touch my skin. Feeding day means benadryl for me =\

and there's the pet cat. I'm not sure if i posted that one before but this cat is always causing problems. I've rarely had escapees from the cockroach tanks, but if one gets out, he's sure to find it, grab it, and bring it upstairs while the family is eating dinner.

What a good cat lol He knows to catch the escaping inmates!

nice, bearded dragons aren't very friendly from my experience, but most of the herp collectors i know feed these things roaches. You use crickets?

Uromastyx lizards are great too. They resemble bearded dragons but eat some vegetables as well.

Crickets and mealworms, yes. Roaches are difficult to find, and aren't usually recommended for beardies - But, some people feed theirs locusts and they are the picture of health.

Uromastyx are wonderful lizards to keep for the squeamish- They are completely vegetarian. I feed my beardies greens and veggies as well, but they prefer insects for sure!

I'm sorry you haven't had friendly experiences with beardies, that is rather odd! Beardies are always recommended for new reptile keepers, and are very affectionate, just loving human contact. However, I have known some mean ones too - You must have been unlucky!

Binkie, congrats to the new Grandaddy! He is a handsome fellow in his jacket! :D

To some cats, cockroach IS dinner.

Great pic. You and kitty look like a pair of supernatural crime fighters.

I've posted photos before of my best buddy "Cocoa" (below), but I've just applied to MAESSR (Mid Atlantic English Springer Spaniel Rescue) to adopt another Springer Spaniel. Wish me luck!

I don't have a pic at the moment. But I do have a cat, he is gray and white and his name is "Stupid Cat" he is the third cat I have had with that name haha. He is notorious for knocking my glass of water over next to my bed every morning around 230 in the morning so I'll let him out to potty. "That Stupid Cat...."

Miss Katherine Daisy O'Brien Foyle: the official portrait

My mom had a pro over to do some shots of objets d'art, and while there, he volunteered to do Kitty's portrait for free. Best one ever!

Can you believe this cat is 15 years old? I think she could win shows if her paws matched.

Samantha, my Maine Coon is 14 and still quite active, though she doesn't jump onto the top of the amorie anymore.
She's a Torbie (patched tabby) and in cat shows they're classified with the Calico's and Tortoise Shell's as the "Party Girls".

Kitty F is either a Bluecream or Dilute Tortie depending on who sees her.
By breed, she's part Turkish Angora and part lace-curtain Irish house cat. lol
Wouldn't call her a party girl - she's by turns languorous and feisty.

Don't she tho? One reason my family calls her the most beautifulest kitty cat ever ever ever.
To her face, even. We spoil her ROTTEN. :D

gorgeous kitty! I can see while you'd spoil her. Cats are the bees knees or should I say the cats pyjamas? Had to say it lol.

My cat 'Puddy' is has the best little personality, though hes getting on, 13 this year, but he's still going strong. I found him when I was 13 and we've been the best of pals since, he used to trot up the street to greet me on my way home from school! He is so discerning, knows a cat person from a mile off and will ignore you when it pleases him, he'll also refuse the most refined foods if it doesn't meet his standards! I love cats, they are so distinguished, if they could dress they'd be so sharp!

Heres some good Mark Twain cat quotes:

If animals could speak the dog would be a a blundering outspoken fellow, but the cat would have the rare grace of never saying a word too much. - Mark Twain

Of all God's creatures, there is only one that cannot be made slave of the lash. That one is the cat. If man could be crossed with the cat it would improve the man, but it would deteriorate the cat." - Mark Twain
