slightly lowered two chest pockets with slight angle and no handwarmers :)

reason: no handwarmers because it already has front facing sleeve zips on more or less same level would be too busy with handwarmers, if the handwarmers are gone then the chest pockets need a bit lowered for a better balance in my opinion, keep the angle to make it non droopy looking even when the pocket is a bit lowered.

I had an Aero Seven for short time. I moved it on for a few reasons but one of them was I didn't really like the single chest pocket which is strange because I really like them on a standard Sheene and Half Belts styles... the whole style just didn't work for me for some reason. This is one of the few jackets I have moved on that I have never second guessed my decision. Still determined to get a Sheene one day though...

How did you find the handwarmer pockets? Did they feel bulky? I'm leaning toward the 4 pocket config for balance and I plan to have the handwarmer zip pulls close toward the hem. If you don't mind, what were the other reasons you didn't like the jacket? Since I own and really like my Thedi, Carrie suggested the seven for a similar fit with a collar.

Radz, seriously, why don't you give Lewis Leathers Dominator a try? Carlos also has it and it's a fantastic fit, really flattering and the best quality money can buy. Detail-wise, it is very similar to Aero Seven just that the collar is much, much nicer. I definitely plan on getting it some day, as soon as I come by some cash.

I agree it is really an attractive looking jacket. However, I already paid for my fit jacket through Thurston Bros. No refunds allowed once the custom process has started so I'm committed to Aero right now. Thank you for all your responses.

Such a shame you can't remove the logo on Lewis Leathers anymore. To me it ruins an otherwise amazing looking jacket.
I am also not fond of that LL logo that IMHO adversely affects an otherwise clean, uncluttered look. o_O

The hand warmers weren't bulky at all, I really didn't notice them tbh. They definitely were not a contributing factor in my decision and I plan to get zippered hand warmers (than close in the bottom position) on a regular sheene one day.

I don't use the hand warmers on any of my jackets really, I don't like the stretched out look they get over time when they are used on a trim jacket but thats just personal. Having them zippered may stop this?

There were a few other reasons I didn't like the seven, it was just too long for what I really wanted (which is a regular Sheene...I got this off another member and didn't pay full price) plus I already had a brown Steerhide Board Racer so part of it was it was just too similar to something I already had to justify keeping it. The chest pocket was a touch low in my eyes and it was just never going to be a jacket I grabbed before any of my others.....its not a bad jacket at all and I've seen some that look great, I just didn't think it did anything for me.

This vintage jacket only has handwarmer pockets, and I think it suits the style. The fact that it's two tone helps. :)

In general, I'm not a fan of chest pockets, and I normally delete them from my jackets when I get a chance. Given a choice, I much prefer two, as it's more symmetrical.

If you want to be radical, how about no exterior pockets? There's a Café Racer on the Aero Japan site in that style.

^ :D the japanese young guy didn't seem all too happy about the fit... he fell asleep
2 size smaller and a pair of chest pockets would wake him up :p
