Looking for a hatter?

Hello,

My name is Brandon and I'm new to the forum, I have been on the hunt for the perfect replica of Michael Jackson's black fedora. There are many hats out there that are close but I'm very very picky and want one that is made exactly like his. What I've decided is to have a hat custom made for me from several pictures that I have of Michael Jackson's actual fedora. Basiclly what I'm looking for is a hatter that has the patients for me and my pickiness. I have spoke with 2 different companies that will remain un named, but seem to not have the patients for someone that is very picky and knows exactly what they want. If anyone can help me find a hatter that will work with me and has the patients, please let me know your suggestions.

Well, my go-to man is Art Fawcett, who is a member here. Do a search, you'll find him. He has worked from photos before, and fully custom. Not to mention a true gent. You'll have to wait a few months, but I don't think he's had an unhappy customer yet.

To be fair, though, there are plenty of good hatters. Optimo is pretty flexible, as I hear it. Penman is kind of new, but willing to try new things. Keppler and Jimmy Pierce also make a nice custom lid.
