Linen Paper Moon Suit

Has there been a discussion on Ryan O' Neal' s linen suit from Paper Moon ?

My take?


It's vintage early '30s. Not fake; real.


I don't think that it was made of pure linen. There's a lightweight hopsack texture to it that reminds me of linen / wool mohair blends. More linen than mohair, though -- hence the serious rumpling. (Then again, those sleeve wrinkles were probably pressed in by a detail-obsessed wardrobe assistant.)
