Let me start by saying it is NOT vintage, but it is a nice hat. It was originally sold by Miller as the Manhattan (made by Biltmore), which you can still get today. Here's the pics; http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/micha...=&.done=http://photos.yahoo.com/ph//my_photos
Now, the details. Size is 7 3/8, but it fits a little small. Brim is 2 3/4" snap with ribbon binding. Crown is 4 1/2" at highest point, 3 5/8" at lowest. Felt is thin and light, so it might make a good summer hat. All stitching, ribbons, and liner are in perfect shape. The only real flaw is a slight wiggle (?) in the brim when it's snapped up all the way around. It vanishes when the front is snapped down. I'm asking $45 plus postal shipping (give me a method and a zip for a quote). I do not have the original hatbox, but I'll throw it into an old, beat Stetson box that will keep it safe.
I know this isn't the sort of hat that's in demand here, but I'd feel better selling it to one of you.
NB
