Levis 517 1970 LVC rigid

I would like to buy the Levis 517 1970 LVC rigid. They say, that 5% percent shrinking can be expected. I am ,not sure, If i take my true size or to size up because of the shrinking. I wash my jeans in 40 degrees celsius. Has someone experience with the Levis 517 1970 rigid jeans???
