The most amazing thing is that Laurel lived out his life in a modest apartment, with his phone number listed in the phone book! He, and his contribution to the world, really ignored. Very sad. At least, he seemed happy according the Dick Van Dyke who called him one day and became a regular visitor. I am teaching a class on life in the 1930's next year and I can't wait to show "The Music Box" to my students.

Ahhh, the music box...:) I know this isn't from the music box but this has always been me & my dads favorite line. "hard boiled eggs and nuts. Now you know I don't like hard boiled eggs and nuts!" ;) I'm looking forward to getting to know mr laurel better. I even sent the link to my dad!
