Renee looks much more 30's, even almost 40's in many scenes, and the choice of Sing, Sing, Sing in the background surprised me -- but I guess most people can't tell the difference between eras, and it all looks good! Looking forward to the Rosalind Russell/His Girl Friday aspect of the movie.

I noticed the same thing. I love it all, but all together...it's sort of odd.
Still gonna see it because my sentiments about George CLooney are pretty much the same as most of the ladies here. wowza.

I'm really looking forward to this film. I've been peeking at the trailers on Apple for a few weeks now and it looks like fun, also like it's gonna be a great clothes movie. I'm not a star struck type of gal, but when it comes to George Clooney, *swoon*. So Clooney in vintage is magnificent to me. I really enjoy his acting, and he seems to have that "O'Brother Where Art Thou" thing going on in this, in terms of silly personality and that great twangy voice of his.
I don't go to the movies very much, just not a big fan of the large theaters, and the smaller ones around here don't typically play blockbusters. I always say "Ooh, I'm gonna see that" then never do. But, this year there seems to be so many good movies that I'm actually gonna see in the theater. This is one of them. I'm looking forward to seeing it, and to hearing what you all think of it when it does come out next month.
Cheers,
Daisy
