Just received this original Levi's type III suede trucker, probably from the 50s. It's the above ^ jacket's granddaddy. I was expecting the jacket to be fragile with holes in it. Yet to my surprise, it's in perfectly wearable condition. It looked a bit pale at first so I used some suede renovator to brighten up the color. That also took care of the faint cigarette smell.

Hi, i need some expert advice on this one. The seller says it’s leather but on the pics, it looks like fake leather. The Lee MR tag and the round collat makes me think it’s probably from the 80’s. What do you think?

Fit is great everywhere, except the sleeves do look extremely short. Are you sure they haven't been modified? Usually, they come with cuffs and snaps to close them.
These are original. I can tell by the wear and the stitching.

The 60s truckers came with cuffs, 50s without.

Here's a sherpa lined trucker from the 50s. Same short and wide sleeves.

I figured I'd post it here for the record, since this is the only one Lost Worlds suede trucker of this type that I have seen. There are a few truckers on Stu's website, but they are different, have snaps instead of buttons and different suede and probably cut. This one was made by Stu for (I think) a Japanese collaborator Twins Acoustic. The suede is pretty hefty, the jacket weighs 3.6 lbs in size 38. I like this jacket quite a bit. A welcome addition to my (nearly) all black leather jacket collection.

I love it. Personally I'm not a fan of lw jackets at all. They lack character imo. But this one is the exception to the rule :) Great color and you wear it well.

Yeah, eBay. The way the guy took pictures, the color was a pretty sickly pale yellow, so I took a chance. Turns out the real color is a much deeper ochre shade which I like. A great spring/fall easy wearing jacket.
