I was trying to restore a deteriorated pool cue grip, and a friend suggested Klucel-G: http://www.preservation-solutions.com/product/klucel-g/

Have any of you used it for sweatbands? Most of us have probably at one time or another, had a thin sweatband that looked sort-of-okay, but when Lexol was applied, it dried up, curled and started cracking. Perhaps this stuff will solve that problem?

You have to be careful with leather care products as most of them aren't formulated for direct skin contact though there are some more gentle conditioners out there.

Regardless, my post had to do with the effectiveness of the product. Sounds like either no one's heard of it or no one cares.
