Leather peacoat advice

I have a V shape body. I am 6' tall and weigh 178lbs. My chest is 42" and my waist is 32". The US Schott A-2 and G-1 jacket in large fit me well. Would a Schott 140 or 740 leather peacoat be likely to fit me.

The supplier is Silvermans of Mile End, London. I can't find the 140 leather peacoat in the UK. This is it:

I can get it in the classic wool in navy or black. But wool is too itchy. I intend to try the 740N leather tomorrow in 42 and 44 but I would like to see and try the 140 leather too. Does anyone know the difference between the leather 140 and leather 740?

According to the Schott NYC forum "you call the schotts" the 740 and the 140 leather peacoat are the same pattern.
These are hard to find in Brown (i had just picked one from an ebay seller which have the european version, those with the embroidery Schott logo on the left chest side).
The US version doesn't have it.
