Now I am a huge Laurel and Hardy fan so finding out about this radio programme has quite simply put the cream in my coffee for the rest of the day.
Comedy writer and historian Glenn Mitchell spent 20 years searching for archive footage of legendary comic partnership Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy. He found a treasure trove of broadcasts, including a 1932 BBC radio interview. Now in your best handwriting make a note on the calendar so you don't miss the broadcast on the wireless.
Laurel and Hardy On Tour will be broadcast 27 July on BBC Radio 4 at 11:30 BST. Plus our Internet friends who cannot recieve BBC radio 4 will also be able to access the programme via the Internet for seven days after the broadcast date via the Radio 4 website's Listen Again page.
