Late 70s Cal LAPD size 42ish

Here's another one that doesnt have right fit for me. I had it for sale previously but since then it got a nice touch up from the Cal shop.

I call it my "party" Cal. Had gold dust/glitter in the pocket when I got it. The stories...

Cal Leathers shop patched up liner on the arm pit area and inner pocket restitched. Male side zipper pin replaced so the original talon head still intact and in good condition. Original Serval on the wrist zips. Amazing, soft, broken in leather. Excellent condition flat out, not just for a 40 year old jacket.

Ptp 23.5 (tapers very quickly. Fits more like a 22.5)
Shoulder 19
Back 24 at tip of the tail
Waist 18-21ish depending on the laces
Sleeves 23 (kind of misleading because of design. Hits me just at wrist. I'm 6'0 for reference)

Like I said on the other thread, the Cal you are selling here interests me.
I am a 41-42 chest, but not a tall guy, at 5.9 (175cm), so the short 23" sleeves could be at the limit of what I need.
I will let you know in the upcoming days (weeks?), if I don't receive the fur lined Cal I bought 2 weeks ago.

Sure no problem. I'm 6'0. The sleeves are not a problem. They go to my wrist bone. Should be fine for you. I can send you fit photos when you are ready.

I am 42 chest. This one fits me great but is a little short for me. But since you are 5'9, will be perfect for you.

The other one (42L) I also bought many months ago. It fits different because it has no gussets. But it is spectacular. it's a hair tight for me (I need to wear with laces fully out if I zip) but probably good for you. At 5'9, if you are less than 180 lbs, it will be good.

The mutton collar fits both jackets, so I could include with either. Whichever jacket I dont sell, I will keep. They are too nice to lose both, but obviously redundant.

Anyway, when ready, send me message and we can figure it out.

I would prefer the 42L, I prefer longer sleeves to gussets. It looks really nice. The measurements are :
Pit-22.5
Sleeve-25
Back-25 (without collar, I suppose)
Shoulder-18

As I am less than 170 lbs (76 kg), that should fit, if these Cal are not too restrictive.
What's the measurement at the bottom, depending on the laces?
A pic with the fur collar would be interesting too.
How much would you ask, with or without collar, including shipping to France ?
A lower value would need to be declared, for customs.

FYI, this one still for sale, in case anything got muddled between the two threads. Although as we get closer to fall and can start wearing again, I might change my mind LOL. I think only those of us who have gone down the Cal Leathers rabbit hole can really understand the joy and mostly pain of trying to find one that fits. So far I've gotten mostly there and actually been pretty lucky. But I've yet to hit that lotto trifecta of good condition, original zippers, right size, sub $500 price, etc. etc.
