Howdy folks!
I’ve been making hats and chore coats for a living now for a few years and today I wanted to share with you all my newest creation.
I do re-enacting and I wanted a good travel bag for historical clothing and everyday use.
I searched some old photos of 1800s style Valises and developed this Style. Essentially a 19th century button duffle.
In the airport now Road testing my new “Track Walker Valise”
A tradition 1800s working class travel bag.
I made this one in Wabash stripe with vintage USA woven denim end caps, reproduction 1800s buttons, and limited run red, blue, and gold heirloom cotton strap.
I used all the fanciest of fancy materials on this one!
